Marianne Iversen

Marianne Iversen is a partner based in the firm’s Oslo office. She assists Norwegian and foreign clients with issues relating to tax, both in the form of advising and with complaints to the committees/legal procedures. She provides assistance on every aspect of tax law, also within the specific tax regimes for shipowners, petroleum- and power plant business, specialising on industry- and company taxation. Iversen also has expertise within areas such as accounting law and company law. She also has experience from the Finance Ministry, she was a member of the Aarbakke panel and later the Skauge panel, its recommendations being the basis for the existing tax reform. In addition, in 2004/2005 Iversen was the leader of an expert panel which considered parts of the taxation reform (taxation of individual enterprises, partnerships, limited partnerships etc).

Iversen was in 2009 recommended by Chambers and Partners as "Leaders in their field" in the category Tax.
