Geir Sviggum

Geir Sviggum is resident partner and Chief Representative at Wikborg Rein, Shanghai office. Clients of the Shanghai office include national governments, state owned companies and the majority of Norwegian enterprises in China.

Geir Sviggum specializes in litigation and dispute resolution, and has handled international arbitrations and other disputes in China and several European countries. He further specializes in construction- and fabrication contracts on- and offshore, and has been lead counsel for construction projects in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and China.

Geir Sviggum is partner in charge for Wikborg Rein’s assignment as Official Legal Advisor to the Norwegian government during the World EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.
