Simen M. Klevstrand

Simen M. Klevstrand is a senior associate based in Wikborg Rein’s Oslo office. He is part of the firm's Industry group Trade, Industry and Public Sector.  His main field of work is competition law and EU/EEA law.

Klevstrand's primary areas of work are merger control, cases regarding alleged infringements of antitrust rules and compliance work. Beside assisting clients in cases handled by Norwegian competition authorities, he has experience in handling EU Commission cases. Klevstrand has previously worked at the Brussels office of the international law firm Clifford Chance LLP. He has published several articles within competition law and EU/EEA law.

Klevstrand graduated from the University of Oslo and has a master's degree in EU/competition law from the University of Durham, UK.
